FOB Battle Report: Turn 1, Initiative 2 "Slow Moves"

Wargamers Prayer: Dear Lord, You give us games that allow us to enjoy each other's company, share in fellowship, experience joy in play, learn from our past and memorialize those who came before us for the sacrifices they made. May you be with us in our games and learn about You as we play. Let's be ferocious opponents on the "battlefield" but even better friends in life. In Your Son Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Slow Moves

Initiative Roll

Duke of Marlborough   vs.  General D'Alegre

French are the active side
British are the reactive side
8-5 = 3 actions each side

French Actions

French Action 1: Artillery Fire (All artillery is off board at the moment so there is none to shoot)

French Action 2: Move 1 Command Group

D'Alegre allows 4th Brigade, under D'Arco to move forward. These are the Bavarian Cuirassiers that can hit hard in a fight. 5 - 4 = 1 so they get 1 move segment.

French Action 3: Melee (The French need to be within 6 cm to charge an enemy on a melee card)

British Actions

British Action 0: Army Morale (Cost 0 points as there are no destroyed units and no routing units)
British Action 1: Leadership

The British use this card to turn the Dutch 4th Brigade under Pallandt from March Columns to Lines to face the enemy.

British Action 3: Leadership (again, would be nice if it this was drawn later in the turn)

British Action 3: Melee (The British cannot charge either)
